Ayr Pipe Band Society, City of Newcastle, Denny and Dunipace Pipe Band Association, Kilbarchan, Livingston Caledonia, Lower Clyde Pipes and Drums, Oban, Wallacestone and District entered the Grade 2 section from a lower grade. They contest the result here but aren't Grade 2 bands, so they don't appear in the Grade 2 roster or Champion of Champions.
